La Xiquella Manyac artisan soft cow´s cheese, mini wheel 240 g. From Girona.
Cheese made from raw cow's milk from the Bruna del Pirineus breed, with a soft paste and a flowery mouldy rind. It is made in La Xiquella cheese factory in La Vall d'En Bas (La Garrotxa, Girona) by cheese master Oriol Rizo.
The name is a Catalan expression used in the traditional speech of the Garrotxa and that somehow wants to reflect the character of the cheese, Manyac means: soft, docile, affectionate or tender.
Product recognised with the Girona Excelente 2016-2017 agri-food quality seal. Silver Medal Diploma in the category of soft cow's cheese in the 22nd Pyrenean artisan cheese competition (2016).

Ideally, keep refrigerated between 1º and 4º C.
