Appellation of Origin (DOP / IGP):
Brandy de Jerez
70 cl bottle of Carlos I Brandy de Jerez, Solera Gran Reserva, from the town of El Puerto de Santa María, Cadiz, Andalusia. ABV: 40%.
Its production begins with a careful selection of the best Airén grape wines distilled in our own distillery through artisanal methods in Arab alquitaras. Aged in American oak butts that previously contained the most select Sherry wines, amontillado and Oloroso, and thanks to the artisanal aging method of Criaderas and Solera, young distillates are mixed with older ones, thus revealing an extraordinary brandy.

CATA'S NOTES
Visual phase: deep amber color with golden nuances.
Olfactory phase: very aromatic and elegant, with notes of cocoa and vanilla.
Taste phase: remains complex and balanced in the mouth.
Carlos I Gran Reserva has a history that demonstrates the character of this liquor: in 1889 a cellar master discovered some barrels of unknown origin, it was such a spectacular brandy that they decided to call it Carlos I, and try to reproduce its flavor and aromas. To do this, they used the criaderas and soleras aging method, which is one of the keys to this liquor, where young distillates are mixed with older ones. Even today it is considered a brandy of the highest quality and is one of the flags of the century-old Osborne Winery.
CONSUMPTION RECOMMENDATION
Perfect for relaxed moments or enjoyment with friends. Carlos I is delicious, deep and versatile to enjoy alone, with ice or in a cocktail.
